Year 12 celebrated the conclusion of their high school education at a formal graduation assembly in front of families, friends and community guests on Thursday 22 September. Students and staff reflected on the achievements of the past six years of education, as awards were announced and students received their portfolios.
One highlight of the ceremony was the swearing-in of the new school captains for 2017, and the handing over of badges by the outgoing student leaders.
Student performers from Year 12 and the junior Indigenous dance group provided entertainment throughout the ceremony. Guests were treated to lunch in our Pasifika Garden at the conclusion of the graduation presentation.
