Preparing for careers and further education
James Meehan High has adopted a whole school approach which builds capacity for all students so that they are involved in and take responsibility for meeting their changing career development needs within a rapidly evolving world of work and further education.
We promote the development of our students' aspirations for success in life through a number of programs sponsored by supporting community and industry organisations. Read about Building student aspirations.

We also encourage students in the senior years to gain worthwhile career accreditation while still at high school through vocational education and training courses, and school based apprenticeships and traineeships. Find out more about Educating for careers.
