On Thursday 23 March, Year 10 students participated on a field trip to Sharkey's Beach. The day started off at Sublime Point Lookout, where students took part in fieldwork stretches and abiotic testing. Next stop was the
escarpment to Sharkey's Beach, where students got to walk out onto the rock platform to examine different organisms living in the rock pools, conducted water quality tests and discussed coastal management strategies. In the last 30 minutes, the skies opened up and gave everyone a good soaking. However, this didn't dampen their spirits, with everyone persevering to finish off the field work.
