Our school Library is making some big changes, with the installation of a new suite of furniture designed to create a flexible space for collaborative learning. Students have been impressed by the bold colours and comfortable seating in the new space.
Further additions to the Library in the near future will include a dedicated lab for 3D printing, laser scanning and vinyl cutting. This will provide our students with many of the technology tools they need to focus on developing skills in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics). An understanding of STEM will be essential for our students to thrive in emerging technology-based careers. Teaching programs in the new Library space will emphasise student collaboration in developing technological solutions to real-world challenges.
